Resident Evil Zero remaster announced for early 2016
Coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One.
Capcom sold more than 1m copies of the recent Resident Evil remake, so its no surprise that the developer today announced a remastered version of Resident Evil Zero.
This edition will launch in early 2016 for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
It will be the first time Zero, a prequel to the original Resi, will be available on non-Nintendo platforms.
Zero begins with a focus on the ill-fated Bravo Team, who ventured into the Arklay Mountains before the events of Resident Evil.
You play as both Rebecca Chambers and escaped convict Billy Coen. Memorably, much of the adventure takes place on a runaway train.
Zero originally launched on GameCube in 2002, shortly after the release of the Resident Evil Remake. A Wii re-release then followed in 2008.
Members of the original development team are now working on this fresh version, including the game's original director Koji Oda.
