PlayStation 3 shooter Resistance 3 gets a new DLC pack tomorrow, publisher Sony has announced.

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, the Brutality Pack adds a new co-op enabled survival mode, playable both online and offline, which sees you fending off wave after wave of grims.

On top of that you'll get a Mick Cutler skin, a special Warden Static PS3 Theme and the sledgehammer unlocked for all game modes.

Metal fans might like to know that lauded US growlers Mastodon are providing the soundtrack for the new content. The DLC features seven of their tracks - three from the recent The Hunter, two instrumental versions of Blood Mountain tunes and two bonus songs from the deluxe version of The Hunter.

European prices haven't been confirmed but the Brutality Pack sells for $3.99 in the US.

Insomniac's under-performing sequel launched back in September, picking up a sturdy 8/10 from Eurogamer. "Extremely enjoyable, but never as imaginative as you want it to be," judged Dan Whitehead in his Resistance 3 review.
