How to get Shaymin and the Shaymin Kimono Set save bonuses in Pokémon Legends Arceus
The Sword and Shield save bonuses explained.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus you can get the mythical Shaymin (Land Forme) and unlock the Shaymin Kimono Set by having a save file from a previous instalment in the mainline series.
These games are Pokémon Sword and Shield and you simply need to have created a save file on your Nintendo Switch to start working towards these rewards.
Save files from other instalments in the Pokémon series will also unlock the Pikachu and Eevee Masks, along with the Modern Team Galactic Set and an encounter with the mythical Darkrai.

How to get Shaymin from Pokémon Sword and Shield in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
If you want to catch Shaymin (Land Forme) in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, your Nintendo Switch needs to contain a save file from either Pokémon Sword or Shield.
Now all you have to do is play Legends: Arceus until you've watched the game's credits; exactly how long it will take you to complete the game's main campaign will depend on your playstyle.
Afterwards a new research request will be available in Jubilife Village and, by accepting it, you'll eventually be offered the opportunity to catch the mythical Shaymin (Land Forme).
It's important to note that Shaymin will be in its Land Forme when you encounter it in Legends: Arceus.

How to get the Shaymin Kimono Set from Pokémon Sword and Shield in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
To unlock the Shaymin Kimono Set your Nintendo Switch must contain a save file from either Pokémon Sword or Shield.
If you meet this requirement, you next need to play Pokémon Legends: Arceus until you've joined the Galaxy Expedition Team, which occurs roughly an hour into the game.
With this goal completed, you can now claim the Shaymin Kimono from the clothier in Jubilife Village. This clothing set will allow you to explore the Hisui region in the style of the mythical Pokémon which inspired it.
