Sniper Elite 2 publisher 505 Games picks up Adidas miCoach
Following THQ and Adidas legal dispute.
Sniper Elite 2 publisher 505 Games has picked up miCoach, the personal training game Adidas sued THQ over last month.
Adidas sued THQ for $10.6 million over an alleged breach of contract around miCoach, which the Saints Row maker was supposed to deliver in January. Adidas and THQ eventually settled out of court. Now 505 has picked up the global publishing rights, and will release adidas miCoach in the summer of 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
It features full motion support, including full optical body tracking with Kinect for Xbox 360 and PS Move for PlayStation 3. Expect mobile apps and integration with micoach.com.
Helping you train are 18 Adidas-sponsored athletes, including Kaka, Dwight Howard, Manuel Neuer, Jessica Ennis, Jose Mourinho (he's an athlete?), Ana Ivanovic, Will Genia, Gareth Bale and Eric Berry.
The game has been in development for a year-and-a-half at UK studio Chromativity (formerly Lightning Fish Games).
