Sniper Elite spin-off Zombie Army Trilogy heading to Switch later this month
Includes local wireless co-op play.
Zombie Army Trilogy, developer Rebellion's bundle of undead-themed Sniper Elite spin-offs, will be making its way to Switch on 31st March.
Should you opt for a purchase, you'll get remastered versions of the first two games - Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2 - plus the more snappily titled Zombie Army 3. All of which take the main Sniper Elite series' third-person shooting and slo-mo sniping formula and transplants it to an occult-ravaged Nazi Germany, full of demons and undead soldiers.
Across the package, there are three playable campaigns and eight playable heroes, plus a horde mode not seen in the original games. Additionally, everything can be played either solo, or via drop-in, drop-out co-op for up to 4 players.
Rebellion says Switch owners can also look forward to local wireless co-op play, plus support for motion controls, HD Rumble, and the Pro Controller. Oh, and you'll be able to make use of Nintendo's rarely seen friend invite system too.
"With up to four players thrown into the fray, [Zombie Army Trilogy] goes from one-note diversion to something much more compelling, "said Eurogamer contributor Dan Whitehead in his 2015 review, "Get others involved in the third episode levels, and you're seeing Zombie Army Trilogy at its best - and under those circumstances, it's an absolute blast."
