Sony has given the green light to rubbish disposal PSN puzzle game Trash Panic, which will be out later this spring (sometime between April and the end of June, we suppose).

Like Tetris, the idea is to rearrange falling objects before the the screen overfills; only the objects are waste and the screen is a giant bin.

As the clock ticks away, players can use heavy rubbish to crush or compact items below, for example, or clump biodegradable items together to rot. Items include oil drums, cars, tires, postboxes, tellies and more.

There's no word on how much Trash Panic will cost, but we're digging for specifics.
