Spanish director in BioShock talks
Film may be back on again.
Spanish film director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is in talks to direct BioShock, according to Variety.
The Hollywood film daily had previously reported that the adaptation was in a "holding pattern" after Universal Pictures sought to move production out of the US for tax reasons and previously-attached director Gore Verbinski couldn't commit to an overseas filming schedule.
Now it seems Verbinski will produce the John Logan script and Fresnadillo, who directed 28 Weeks Later, may take over, although this stuff usually just bounces around for ages, so who knows.
