Splinter Cell, POP Trilogies for 360?
ESRB says yes.
The US ratings board has listed Ubisoft's Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia HD trilogies for release on the Xbox 360.
Both collections have only been confirmed for release on the PlayStation 3.
Noticed by GamerXchange, the ESRB lists Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones HD, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time HD and Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within HD for release on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
On the Splinter Cell side, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell HD, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory HD and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow HD are all down for launch on Microsoft's console.
The PS3 has enjoyed a raft of HD collections in recent months.
God of War Collection, The Sly Trilogy and Ubisoft's own Prince of Persia Trilogy have all been released exclusively on the PS3.
A Splinter Cell Trilogy and Team Ico Collection are both in the works exclusively for PS3, but Ubisoft's Beyond Good & Evil HD is pegged for release on both consoles.
And, of course, Halo: Combat Evolved is rumoured to be on the receiving end of a HD makeover. They're all the rage, aren't they? And with good reason. The Prince of Persia Trilogy was great, as was the God of War Collection, as was The Sly Trilogy.
Eurogamer has asked Ubisoft for comment.
