Super Mario Odyssey - Bubblaine, The Glass is Half Full! and The Squid Monster
How to complete the Seaside Kingdom objective.
Bubblaine's The Glass is Half Full! and The Squid Monster are objectives you'll encounter after a fair bit of time with Super Mario Odyssey, which follow on from Super Mario Odyssey - The Bound Bowl Grand Prix.
You'll find our full walkthrough for them here, whilst you can head back to our main Super Mario Odyssey guide, walkthrough and tips hub for plenty more on all aspects of the game!
Bubblaine - The Glass is Half Full!
The Stone Pillar Seal
Run across the beach and speak to the snail.
Now run towards the chained cork, run past it and throw your cap at the Gushen (the squid creature in a bubble of water). Press 'B' to shoot up with a jet of water. Use it to reach the tall platform in front of you.
Use this ability to reach the second platform. Collect the Moon (The Stone Pillar Seal) and Ground Pound the red button to free the first cork.
The Rolling Canyon Seal
From the Stone Pillar Seal, leap down and follow the beach as it curves back past the Odyssey. You'll see the next button on a high ledge above you. To your left will be a canyon full of spiked shells that roll down like boulders.
Dodge out each one's way, anticipating where each one will bounce. When you reach the end (underneath the whole that's spitting these things out), destroy the wall of wooden crates, pass the checkpoint (Above Rolling Canyon), collect the Moon (The Rolling Canyon Seal) and Ground Pound this button to remove the cork.
The Hot Spring Seal
Now look for the island that's been patrolled by the giant pink sea creature with lots of hats. Possess a Gushen and take note of the lava pools on this island. Use your jet to reach the main platform, and start spraying water (press 'Y') into the main laval pool.
This will reveal a secret underwater area, where your next Moon (The Hot Spring Seal) will be. Collect it, then Ground Pound the big red button above you.
The Lighthouse Seal.
Head for the lighthouse, located on the western side of the map. To enter it, head around the lighthouse itself, then drop down into the well beside it. Inside this underwater cavern, possess one of the Cheep Cheeps the head through the tunnel.
Watch out for the rumbling holes above, below and to the side of you. Giant fish will appear and snap at you, so make sure you don't speed through this section too quickly. When you reach the end, head through the wooden boxes then up to the surface. Head through the Warp Pipe to continue.
At the top, collect the Moon (The Lighthouse Seal) then hit the big red button to knock Bubblaine off the giant goblet and initiate the boss fight.
Squid Monster
To defeat this squiddy boss, head towards the stone pillar when you collected the first of the Moons in this kingdom. Watch out for the spiked shells it will fire at you. Possess a Gushen, rise up to the first platform, then use your rear spray to hit the lava on its head. Hit him enough and he'll flee.
He'll now do a small circuit of the map, passing the Lighthouse and ending up near the island where you watered down the lava pool. Instead of firing those spiked ball-like shells, he's now firing red dart-like shells.

Once you've finished the game, check out the free Balloon World update, too.
Use the Gushen's spray to approach the giant squid, rise into the air, then use your spray to boost you above his head. De-possess then hit a Ground Pound. Just be careful - if you get too close while still on the water, it'll start spinning.
He'll flee again, and now alternate between his two shell attacks. Repeat the tactic for getting above his head, hit a Ground Pound and he'll go down. A Multi Moon (The Glass is Half Full) will be yours.
