Super Mario Run has earned $30m in two weeks
90m downloaded it, but only 3m bought the full game.
Super Mario Run had grossed $30m in revenue since its 15th December worldwide launch, according to game analyst firm Newzoo (via The Wall Street Journal, via Modojo).
Evidently, it was downloaded 90m times, though only 3m of those purchased the full game at $9.99. That's a conversion rate of 3.4 per cent, a notable decrease since the game's launch day when roughly 10 per cent of users were buying the full title.
These figures, while solid, aren't close to breaking Pokémon GO's record of earning $200m in 32 days.
An Android version of Super Mario Run will be released sometime this year and players can pre-register to be notified when it's available.
Our Chris Donlan recommended Super Mario Run in his review, in which he called it "a game born of a deep understanding of its platform."
