Telltale has revealed that it is making an episodic series for Wii Software that will begin in June.

The first game will be called Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People and will be based on the animated series over on homestarrunner.com.

Cartoon creators Matt and Mike Chapman will be working closely with the Sam & Max developer to ensure everything is very funny and authentic so fans of Strong Bad will not be upset and run into the road.

Meanwhile, those of you with absolutely no idea what is going on will get a nice introduction to this strange and quirky world.

Telltale is planning five episodes per series and says all will make use of the WiiConnect24 service that lets your console do things while it's on standby.

"Telltale has been rejecting my ideas for green text adventures for years," said made-up character Strong Bad. "But we finally reached a compromise with this puffy 3D point-and-click-em-up adventure. They claim all the coding was done with green text, so I guess that's pretty cool."

Wii Software is a downloadable attraction like Live Arcade or PSN, which allows independent developers to make small and quirky games to be downloaded by you.

WiiWare (as it is known abroad) is already up and running in Japan, and goes live in the US on 12th May.

There is no release date for Europe yet.
