The Eurogamer Podcast #21: We need your help, Aaron Paul
"Also!"
Right, although we recorded this podcast yesterday, Donlan isn't around to write this week's blog post. So, as a result, don't be expecting any clever tangents in which I delight in some historical anecdote I've just read in The Guardian, or whatever it is he usually does. I'm here to tell you about the contents of today's episode. And that's your lot.
Okay, first up, we're talking Total War: Warhammer, which remains one of my favourite games of the year. It's got some fairly big DLC coming next month, introducing the Wood Elves as a playable race, but this is a game that's already seen a lot of new, interesting stuff since its release back in May. I try my best to talk about all of that, while Christian makes fun of me for saying the words "Wood Elves" quite a bit.
Meanwhile, he's been playing the open beta for Steep, which is Ubisoft's next open world game, featuring snowboards and ski lifts, rather than hacking and assassins. Donlan seems to like it, although longs for the days of Burnout Paradise and its elegant, endless looping.
And finally, we want to talk a little more about Titanfall 2. Just like everyone else, we're big fans of what this game has accomplished with its single-player campaign, and just like everyone else, we're worried it hasn't sold the number of copies it likely deserves. However, we may have a solution. And it involves Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15's Aaron Paul.
