The latest Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty trailer is a little different
"We're inching ever closer all the time."
Just Add Water has released a new trailer for upcoming puzzle platformer Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and it's, well, a little different.
The video features footage of the game accompanied by the song Born to Love You, by Elodie Adams, an Australian musician and big Oddworld fan. It's a bit Evanescence.
In a post on the PlayStation blog, Just Add Water chief Stewart Gilray said he thought the song was a perfect fit "because it's in keeping with the theme of New 'n' Tasty and the story of Abe".
"Our new trailer conveys more of the story within the game - not just what you'll see, but also through the music."
The song will appear again in the game's end credits.
So, how's development on New 'n' Tasty, the remake of the 1997 PlayStation adventure Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, going?
"We're inching ever closer all the time," Gilray said.
"E3 next week is a big one for us. The game is fully playable at the show and we have press lined up end to end, so expect a lot of new info, screens and gameplay footage to come out of the event."
Not long now.
