How to find the secret door in the Red House in The Medium
The secret door in The Medium is located in the basement of the Red House.
To reach it, you must first solve the dollhouse and butterfly puzzle on the first floor by using the mirror. After doing so, the mirror will disappear and you'll be able to venture down into the basement.
Once there, you'll see a very obvious crack in the wall of the basement's main room.
Marianne can easily slip through this crack to discover the secret door, which you'll need a code to unlock.
How to find the code for the secret door in The Medium
To find the code for the secret door in The Medium, you need to head back to the main room of the basement - the camera angle which has the crack in the wall on the right-hand side of the screen - and head through the doorway directly opposite it.
In this room, you'll find a green locker, with a receipt left atop the chest next to it.
Using your trusty bolt cutters, you'll discover that the locker contains an empty box for a pocket watch, which was given to Thomas by his wife to celebrate their ten year anniversary.
The receipt is for the pocket watch and is dated 1976.
Take away ten from 1976 and you get 1966, which is the code you need for the secret door.
Now all you have to do is return to the secret door and enter the code, 1966, into the pad for it to open.
