Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 skate letter locations: How to find S.K.A.T.E in every level explained

Warehouse skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Warehouse is the easiest level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1, so you'll find all of the letters very quickly.

S is located in-between the two ramps on the left-hand side of the main area of the Warehouse and you can easily reach it by performing an ollie between the two ramps.

K floats high above the ramp at the very back of the Warehouse on the right-hand side.

To reach it, first make sure that you're correctly lined up with the letter and then crouch to build up speed, which, when you reach the top of the ramp, should give you enough speed to reach the letter.

A can be found floating above the destroyed taxi in the right-hand side of the Warehouse and can be reached by performing an ollie.

T floats above the two sets of ramps in the middle of the Warehouse.

We recommend using the right-hand ramp from the starting point in the Warehouse to pick up speed, which should, when you go up the ramp at the bottom, give you enough air to reach the T.

E is located in the small alcove on the left-hand side of the Warehouse.

The quickest way to reach it is to go down the left-hand side of the ramp from the Warehouse's starting point and, at the bottom, immediately turn left and go up the ramp. You'll find the E sitting and waiting for you there.

School skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

It's time to head to school and find the missing letters in this Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 level.

S can be on the railing that sits in-between the school gym and playground; all you have to do is grind down the rail and it will be yours.

K sits between the kicker gap at the bottom of the stairs that led to the playground in School - just perform an ollie over this gap to collect this letter.

A can be found in the playground area of the school, floating above a section of red and white safety barriers. You can either grind along this barrier or perform an ollie over it to collect this letter.

T is located in the pathway between the playground area and the pool. To reach it perform a jump using the ramp - just make sure you're properly lined up first and have enough air to reach it.

E can be found above one of the railings in the swimming pool area and, again, you have the choice of grinding the rail or performing an ollie.

Mall skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Within this abandoned mall you'll find another set of letters spelling out skate for you to collect in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1.

S is located just before the glass doors you smash through to enter the mall.

To obtain it either grind along the red railing or perform a jump trick. If you're having trouble finding this letter stop in front of the doors to the Mall and then turn around - it should be right behind you.

K can be found floating around the edge of the platform to the right-hand side of the fountain; perform a grind or simply skate along the top of this platform to obtain this letter.

A can be found at the end of the left-hand metal rung running across the pond - simply grind along this metal rung to collect it.

T can be found in the middle of the small statue area before the entrance to the food court. We recommend simply jumping onto this area and skating through the letter to collect it.

E is located in the middle of the food court and, to reach it, you need to perform an ollie using one of the ramps.

Downtown skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

When you're visiting downtown in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 make sure you're keeping an eye out for the taxis or less you'll find collecting letters rather hard.

S can be found at the end of the alley where you begin the Downtown level.

To reach it you must first jump up onto the platform to your right. From there, you must jump onto, then grind along, a railing and, once you reach the end, perform a jump that will send you through the letter.

K floats above the fountain in Downtown and can be easily obtained by picking up speed to perform an ollie over the fountain.

A is located to the right of the cinema; it's obtained by building up enough speed and performing a jump that's lined up with the letter.

T is located in the corridor that's accessed by using the truck to the right of the cinema as a ramp and then smashing through the glass. If you follow this new corridor along, you'll find the T and access to the roofs in Downtown.

E is located on the railing above the starting point for the Downtown level. To reach it, skate around till you're at the back of this level and use either of the two jumps to get your skater above the railing, then perform a grind along the railing to collect the letter.

Downhill Jam skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Always remember that, despite the name, you can turn around to find a letter you might have missed in Downhill Jam for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1.

S is located at the very beginning of this level; use the ramp next to the letter to reach the right height for grabbing the letter.

K can be found atop a set of parallel pipes as you head down the Downhill Jam. To reach this letter, use the ramp in front of the pipes to gather some air and then grind along the left-hand pipe to collect your K.

A is located in an elevated area after the pipes where you can find the letter K.

To reach this area, take the ramp that is to the left of the pipe where K sits and then grind across the pipe you find there. You'll now find yourself in a small elevated area where you can collect A by performing an ollie.

T can be found after the barrier signposted 'Keep Clear.' Use the ramp in front of T to gain enough air, so that you can snatch this letter out of the sky.

E can be found floating next to a building in the area right before the end of Downhill Jam.

Like many letters before it, this E can be reached by lining up your skater and then performing a jump using the ramp beneath it. If your jump is high enough, then you'll reach the letter.

Streets skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Streets is the last level that challenges you to spell out skate in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1.

S is located just above the Hubba Gap. To find it, follow the left-hand side wall after going down the hill from the starting area, including the ramps you'll encounter.

You'll quickly emerge at the top of the Hubba Gap stairs where the letter S can be easily collected.

K is found by heading up the ramp directly opposite from the starting point of the level and then carefully jumping down from balcony to balcony. You'll quickly reach an area with glass windows that you can smash to collect the letter inside.

A can be found in the ChinaTown themed area of this level. To reach it you'll want to use one of the ramps to launch yourself into the air and then direct your jump towards the letter.

T is by far the hardest letter to find on the Streets level. To find it you'll want to head to the wall directly to the right of the park area and, there, you'll want to carefully go up the ramp, so that you can land on the flower beds above it.

From there, carefully skate to along the top of the flowerbeds and through the glass into the room containing the letter. Once you've collected the letter, you can either leave through the door that will open or back through the glass.

E is located in the large building opposite, and across the road, from the park area. To reach it you'll want to use the ramp outside to smash through the glass and then, using the ramps inside, gather enough air to collect the letter.

The Hanger skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

The Hanger is the first level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and here you can find the first set of letters that need collecting.

S can be found floating above the ramps in the first part of The Hanger; you can collect it by either grinding along the pipe above it or by performing an ollie through it.

K can be found in the first part of The Hanger on a railing in front of the billboard opposite the starting area for the level. Grind along the top of the ramp and then perform an ollie onto the railing to reach it.

A is floating above the small plane in the first part of The Hanger and can be collected by performing an ollie.

T is located in the bottom left-hand corner of the second part of The Hanger, which is accessed by smashing your way through the glass. To obtain it pick up some speed and ensure that you're heading towards the letter before making the jump.

E is located on the railing in front of the billboard in the second part of The Hanger. The easiest way to reach this letter is to grind along the ramps below and perform an ollie up onto the billboard ramp.

School II skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

It's back to school (again) to hunt down letters (again) in this Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 level!

S can be found floating above a railing in the corridor directly to the right from the starting point of the level.

K is located above the ramp outside of the library - make sure you gather enough speed to reach it.

A is floating above the railing for the stairs that lead from the library area down into the second part of the school.

T can be found at the far back of the lowest level of the school floating above a ramp; make sure you have enough speed and are lined up with the letter to make collecting it easier.

E is located above a ramp in the lowest level of the school near the new buildings you can jump over.

NY City skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

NY City in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 has the usual collection of five letters for you to collect, as well as a number of taxis that you have to avoid.

S is very easy to find, because it will be right in front of you when you start the level. All you have to do is perform a small ollie!

K is located in the park to the left of the starting point for this level; use the large ramp opposite the fountain in this area to launch yourself into the air and grab the letter.

A is located next to the fountain and, if you want it, you'll need to use the small base of the fountain as a ramp.

T is located above the railings near the lake - just grind along the railing to collect it.

E can be found to the left of T and can be obtained by using the ramp beneath it.

Venice Beach skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Venice Beach is one of the final levels in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 to have a collection of letters for you to find.

S is directly to the right of the starting point for Venice Beach; all you have to do is ollie up onto the roof and skate through the letter.

K can be found north of S near the same roof. To obtain it, access the roof using one of the ramps and then perform an ollie and jump through the letter to add it to your collection.

A can be found on a roof in the southern part of Venice Beach. To find it simply go forward from the starting point, following the left wall around, until you reach a ramp, which will take you to the roof and the letter.

T is located on the roof next to where you collect the letter A. All you have to do is use the ramp near the A to reach this roof and then use the ramp beneath the T to gain enough air to reach the letter.

E can be found on the roof to the right of where you collect T; simply drop down onto the roof on the right-hand side of where you find T and then use the ramps to propel yourself up to the T.

Philadelphia skate letter locations in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2

Philadelphia is the last level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 where you can collect letters for the word skate.

S can be found hovering over a gap near the fountain. If you wish to collect this letter, we recommend skating along the flowerbed above this letter and then, at the end, performing an ollie so that you can collect this letter out of the air.

K can be found on the awning opposite the fountain. To collect this letter, you'll need to use one of the nearby ramps to give you enough air to reach, and grind along, the awning.

A is located by a flowerbed opposite the fountain.

T can be found near the building with a ramp, which you must climb to obtain this letter. Once you're at the top of the ramp, performing an ollie over the rails to collect the T.

E is located just north of where you find the letter T. To obtain E, ollie up the stairs opposite the location for T and then jump up onto the flowerbed to your right. From here, you'll be able to easily jump over and grab the E.
