Ubisoft doing Meatballs film tie-in

Ubisoft will create the official game to partner animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs this September.

The big-screen version is another to champion the resurgent 3D cause, but whether the game will follow suit remains to be seen. Specifics such as platforms and gameplay details are non-existent.

Based on the popular children's books, the film takes place in a town where food falls from the sky like rain. Stars lending their voice to the movie include Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan and Mr T.
