UK publisher asks for help releasing Devil Survivor 2
Cult DS RPG needs 1800 pre-orders before it gets manufactured.
UK publisher Ghostlight has asked for help getting niche DS role-player Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 released in Europe.
Ghostlight needs 1800 pre-orders via its website by 30th August to ensure it is manufactured.
Ghostlight blamed "challenges faced in the current retail sector" for why the cult sequel could not be published via traditional means, "despite support from many retailers".
You can pre-order the title via the Ghostlight Webstore in one of two flavours - the game itself costs £24.99, comes factory-sealed and will include an A4 poster. Pre-ordering also gets your name in the game's manual.
Alternatively you can buy the game in a bundle with 3DS instalment Devil Survivor Overclocked. Buying the two together includes a £10 discount, the poster and, again, your name in the manual.
All pre-order money will be refunded should Ghostlight be unsuccessful. If successful, the games will be out at the end of September.
