Uncharted 4 release date announced

First single-player story DLC for series revealed.

Uncharted 4 comes out on 18th March 2016, Sony has announced.

Everything in the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Libertalia Collector's Edition.

The PlayStation 4 exclusive comes in Special Edition and Collector's Edition flavours.

The Special Edition includes the game, a steelbook case designed by Alexander "That Kid Who Draws" Iaccarino, a 48-page hardcover art book by Naughty Dog and Dark Horse, a Naughty Dog and Pirate Sigil sticker sheet, and Naughty Dog Points. You use these points to unlock multiplayer content and character upgrades, Sony said.

The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Libertalia Collector's Edition includes everything in the Special Edition, as well as a 12" Nathan Drake statue by Gentle Giant, three multiplayer outfits (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heist Drake and Desert Drake), three custom weapon skins (Golden Weapon Skin, Snow Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin), Henry Avery, Thomas Tew and Adam Baldrige sigil ball caps, Madagascar sidekick outfits, the Phurba dagger taunt, and a dynamic theme for your PS4.

Meanwhile, there's a £49.99 Digital Standard Edition for those who prefer to pay over the odds from the PlayStation Store. This comes with a download of the game, two multiplayer outfits (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Heist Drake), two custom weapon skins (Golden Weapon Skin and Snow Weapon Skin), the Phurba dagger taunt, and Naughty Dog points.

There's also a £64.99 Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes everything in the Digital Standard Edition as well as the Desert Drake multiplayer outfit, Desert weapon skin, Thomas Tew and Adam Baldridge, and the Uncharted 4 Triple Pack.

The Uncharted 4 Triple Pack is noteworthy because it includes future access to the first ever single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series, and two multiplayer packs that unlock new multiplayer items.

Sony noted the Triple Pack will be sold separately as an add-on. There's no word on what this includes yet.
