Hi Eurogamers, welcome to your weekly round up of the video goings-on over at OutsideXbox.com. This week, bereft by the end of the Destiny Beta, we went searching for anything else that would let us run around on the moon and shoot things. We found Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel might be a 2K Australia joint rather than a Gearbox Software one, but based on the segment we played, it's just as anarchic and entertaining as a full fat Borderlands. In this portion, which we played on an early PC version of the game, we're stuck on a moon with a limited oxygen supply and a selection of extremely narked baddies. Hit play to see how we get on:
If you'd prefer something a bit more educational, then how about some history? Anyone? How about if we relate it to videogames in some way? Okay, good. The French Revolution, the setting for Assassin's Creed Unity, was an incredibly bloody period of French history in which tens of thousands of people died and the political landscape of Europe was changed forever. The Assassin's Creed games are all about the historical accuracy, and if we break out the history books, we can get a pretty good idea of some of the things we'll be seeing in the game. Let's take a look, shall we?
Finally, we finish the week with something nice and easy. Or rather, seven things that are nice and easy. The whole point of achievements is that they're supposed to be just that - achievements. They should be awarded for feats of gaming skill or for exploring off the beaten track. They should, in short, be hard to get. Someone clearly forgot to tell the designers of these, the easiest achievements we've seen in games:
