Volume delayed a "couple weeks" on Vita

But Cross-Buy remains in effect.

Volume, the sci-fi stealth offering by Thomas Was Alone developer Mike Bithell, has been delayed on Vita.

The good news is it's still slated for a release this week on PC, Mac and PS4 with Cross-Buy still in effect. So if you buy it tomorrow on Sony's console you'll still get the Vita version at no extra cost when it inevitably launches.

Bithell thinks that this should only take a "couple weeks".

"It's so very nearly ready, but it needs a little more love," the developer said on Volume's official site. "A few personal problems and issues have slowed down our submittal, so even though the game is 'done' on Vita, we still have some QA process to go through (because that stuff matters)."

We'll have our verdict on Volume going up shortly, so do keep an eye out for that.

Volume stars Thomas Was Alone narrator Danny Wallace as the AI in charge of the simulated world the game is set in while Andy Serkis voices the villain.Watch on YouTube
