Warzone best Whitley loadout: Whitley class setup and how to unlock the Whitley in Warzone
How can you get the most out of this LMG?
The Whitley is an LMG that debuted in Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 2.
Though it's not a terrible addition to the game, considering how clunky it is and how other assault rifles and LMGs have better stats all around, it's tough to recommend the Whitley.
Nonetheless, you can totally get away with using this weapon, especially on Rebirth Island. If you're a skilled player, you'll have a much easier time with the Whitley.
This page will cover how to unlock the Whitley as quickly as possible, the best Whitley loadout and Whitley class recommendations to make it even better.

How to unlock the Whitley in Warzone
To unlock the Whitley in Warzone, simply level up the battle pass to tier 31.
You don't need to purchase anything to gain access to this weapon. For fast levelling, we advise completing contracts in Warzone as much as possible so you can get a multiplier going.
Also, making use of XP tokens, if you've got them!
Best Warzone Whitley loadout and attachments
Here is our recommended Whitley build, along with the levels needed to unlock each attachment:
- Muzzle: MX Silencer (Unlocks at level 57)
- Barrel: 28" Gracey Mk. 9 (Unlocks at level 10)
- Optic: G16 2.5x (Unlocks at level 20)
- Stock: CGC R4 (Unlocks at level 39)
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop (Unlocks at level 55)
- Magazine: None
- Ammo Type: Lengthened (Unlocks at level 26)
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip (Unlocks at level 63)
- Perk 1: Hardscope (Unlocks at level 20)
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded (Unlocks at level 39)
Starting off with the MX Silencer muzzle, you'll want to use this attachment to remain suppressed, while improving your accuracy.
Next, go with the 28" Gracey Mk. 9 barrel for improved recoil control, accuracy, reduced scope sway, and better flinch resistance.
We recommend picking an optic you're comfortable with, but it's hard to go wrong with the G16 2.5x, since this is a long-range build.
After that, equip the CGC R4 stock for improved recoil control, accuracy, recoil recovery, and movement speed - all of which are ideal for long-range engagements.
To preserve recoil control, utilize the M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel. This also improves your overall accuracy, which will help you stay on target.
For this build, we actually recommend skipping magazine type since all of them feature downsides you should avoid. Some reduce your bullet velocity, others hurt your overall ammo capacity, and one wrecks your recoil control.
If you have to use a magazine, we'd recommend the .30-06 120 Round Boxes, but ultimately, you're better off without it.

For all long-range builds, we advise using the Lengthened ammo type for improved bullet velocity.
From there, it's recommended to use the Polymer Grip rear grip for even more recoil control during sustained fire.
Follow that up with the Hardscope perk 1, which boosts accuracy and recoil control during sustained ADS engagements.
Finally, make sure you use the Fully Loaded perk 2 for max starting ammo. The other options aren't too useful with this particular build.
Warzone Season 5 is almost here! Best Warzone Whitley class setup, perks and equipment
Here the recommended equipment and Perks to make the best Whitley class setup in Warzone:
- Perk 1: Quick Fix (Unlocks at level 42)
- Perk 2: Ghost (Unlocks at level 24)
- Perk 3: Combat Scout (Unlocks at level 1)
- Secondary: M1 Bazooka (Unlocks at level 11)
- Lethal: Molotov Cocktail (Unlocks at level 10)
- Tactical: Stun Grenades (Unlocks at level 1)
For nearly all builds including this one, we advise going with Quick Fix, which immediately begins health regeneration after you secure an elimination.
If you're playing on Rebirth Island or regular Battle Royale, we advise equipping the Ghost perk so you remain undetectable by UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. Otherwise, we recommend High Alert.
Since you'll be spraying players from afar with the Whitley, we advise using the Combat Stout perk. This live-pings an enemy you've damaged so you can easily shoot them through walls.
There's plenty of room for experimentation with equipment, but typically Molotov Cocktails are best since they cause splash damage over time.
Stun Grenades are also fantastic so you can gain an advantage during certain gunfights. If you're on Rebirth Island, you could also use the Heartbeat Sensor.
