Use 3 Sacred Ground locations to reduce your Fear Meter is one of the challenges in Warzone as part of Ghosts of Verdansk, a Halloween-themed variation of the battle royale mode.
Featured during The Haunting, Ghosts of Verdasnk features a total of nine challenges to complete. As well as a reward for each, you will obtain the new LAPA SMG for completing them all.

How Sacred Grounds work in Warzone and how to reduce your Fear Meter explained
Sacred Grounds are guarded places across the map that are surrounded by a light blue circle. If you don't notice this right away, these are easy to spot due to a peculiar 'totem' in the centre.
The purpose of the aura around the totem is to 'protect' the people that are inside. Staying here will prevent ghosts from attacking you directly, but they will be able to attack the aura from afar, which is destroyed after a continuous effort.
Most importantly, staying inside a Sacred Ground will reduce your Fear, which can otherwise cause hallucinations. This goes up or down depending on some key situations, listed below from Activision's announcement:
Fear increases with the following actions:
- Being shot at, being hit by enemy Equipment, or having their Killstreaks in the area
- Camping
- Seeing dead bodies or Ghosts
- Having squadmates downed or eliminated
Fear decreases with the following actions:
- Eliminating a player or Ghost
- Reviving a squadmate
- Completing a Contract
- Remaining within a Sacred Ground
Now, let's look into the Sacred Ground locations and what to keep in mind for this challenge in particular.

Here are all Sacred Ground locations in Warzone which are active as part of The Haunting event with Ghosts of Verdansk:
The locations are always displayed on the map, so it's easy to follow them. Plus, the aura is quite noticeable even at a distance, and considering there are plenty of them, the times where you'll be left stranded outside the circles are rare.
That being said, Sacred Grounds won't prevent you from the usual circle that slowly closes in the battle royale map. At some point you will have to get out, so it's best to plan accordingly, as it's likely that enemy ghosts will be expecting you nearby.
For this challenge in particular, you only need to let some time pass until your Fear meter goes up and then head towards a Sacred Ground. That being said, it also counted to just land in one of them from the helicopter at the start of the match. If anything, head outside the aura for a bit and return to reduce it. Doing this three times will complete the challenge.
