Wii trouncing PS3 in Japan
Selling four times more.
The last six months have seen Nintendo's Wii outsell the PS3 in Japan by more than four to one, GamesIndustry.biz reports.
That's according to a Reuters report put together using Enterbrain data, which pinned the April to September 2007 figure at around 1.6 million Wii consoles shifted.
Sony, on the other hand, dished out 385, 492 of its PS3 consoles during the same period.
However, both continue to triumph over the struggling Xbox 360, which clocked-up only 122,565 sales in those six months.
Both Wii and DS sales remain high throughout all regions they are sold in, prompting Nintendo big cheese Reggie Fils-Aime to claim the platform holder won't be able to meet the Christmas demand this year.
And with Super Mario Galaxy out on 30th November, we're not surprised.
