The latest figures from NPD show the Wii was the best-selling console in the US last month.

Nintendo shifted 601,00 consoles, while the figure for Xbox 360 stood at 330,000. The poor old PS3 trailed in third with 218,000, but at least Sony also sold 112,000 PS2 units.

The DS outsold its Sony rival by more than 3 to 1, with 563,000 of Nintendo's handhelds flying off the shelves compared to 168,000 PSPs.
