XBL election has Lib Dems on top
"A telling barometer," says Microsoft.
An Xbox Live pre-UK election survey has concluded with Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg coming out on top.
He amassed 30 per cent of over 400,000 votes. David Cameron and the Conservative party took 20.7 per cent of the vote and Gordon Brown and Labour were third with 17.6 per cent.
The largest segment, 31.3 per cent, was occupied by people undecided about who to vote for.
"We believe our results provide a telling barometer of political attitudes among 18 to 30 year-olds nationwide," said Stephen McGill, director of Xbox & Entertainment.
"Being a young, socially and technology aware group who certainly have their fingers on the pulse 24/7, Xbox 360 Live members are a vitally important demographic for UK parties. Like all Brits, we await the outcome of Thursday's General Election with keen interest."
The UK General Election is, of course, tomorrow. Ahead of the vote, Eurogamer TV tracked down the people who matter in the UK games industry to ask them what they think about the prime-ministerial wannabes.
