Xbox August update adds 1080p60 Windows 10 streaming

Officially, this time.

Microsoft will boost the quality of its Xbox One to Windows 10 streaming by providing support for up to 1080p60fps.

The addition comes as part of the August update for Windows 10's Xbox app.

You could previously unlock the setting via a sneaky workaround, although Digital Foundry reported mixed performance results.

Additionally, the Xbox app will allow you to manually add any game to your collection - including those bought via other marketplaces.
