Yooka-Laylee Butterfly Booster locations to increase your health bar
Some of the bosses are pretty difficult - these collectables can help.
Yooka-Laylee Butterfly Boosters are among the more useful collectables in the game.
Similar to Power Extenders, they offer a permanent upgrade to your adventure - an additional segment of health - which comes in handy for the game's many tricky boss encounters.

Hivory Towers Butterfly Booster location
Once you have the pen-ultimate flying ability that you'll receive between worlds 4 and 5, head back to the starting Shipwreck Creek area.
Between the opening area and the second with the sewage, there is an area above where the Butterfly Booster can be found.
Tribalstack Tropics Butterfly Booster location
Extend the world, and head towards the giant tower in the far distant corner. Head up the starting ramp, and go right.
Just round the corner there is a series of recesses in the wall with moving platforms. Work your way through them...
...and the Butterfly Booster will be waiting for you at the end.
Glitterglaze Glacier Butterfly Booster location
Once you have taken down the World 2 boss, head back to the start of the Icymetric Palace where a warm air current has appeared.
Use it to glide up to the platforms above, which will lead you to the Health Extender in the far corner.
Moodymaze Marsh Butterfly Booster location
Extend the world, and head to the area where there's a body of water with a pipe lying horizontally at its edge.
If you look down into the water to the right, you'll see a block with it inside. To open it, float down, use the Buddy Bubble and use the powerful Sonar ability.
Doing so will break open the block, releasing the Butterfly Booster and destroying any nearby enemies at the same time.

Capital Cashino Butterfly Booster location
Get the level's Mollycool and transform into a helicopter. From where you begin the stage, go ahead and you'll come to a fountain with statues above.
Fly into the ceiling high above there, and the Butterfly Booster will be waiting.
Galleon Galaxy Butterfly Booster location
Expand the world, and go into the gold building that has its entrance opposite Velocity Terminal (this is the giant asteroid with the conveyor belt on the far left of the world).
Inside, take the tube up in the centre of the enemy-filled room, and you'll come to an enclosed wall of platforms. It's fairly simple to navigate - head down first and hit the switch, flooding the wall with water, allowing you to swim past the floating crate in the first section.
Continue doing this (you may have to swam 'towards' the screen after you get past the first crate to continue) to find a Pagie.
Continue going up after this, and you'll find the Butterfly Booster at the very top.
