You can already save £5 off the Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion pass
Catch it while you can.
The headline announcement from yesterday's Nintendo Pokémon Direct was the upcoming release of a Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass - and you can already save a fiver off the price.
Head over to ShopTo and you can get the Pokémon Sword or Shield Expansion Pass for £21.85. It's currently £26.99 directly from the Nintendo eShop.
What do you get in it, though? Well, the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass will add two new areas to the game: The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. The first will arrive before the end of June 2020, while the second is due in autumn 2020.
The former is a bright and sunny location with a training dojo. The latter is a snowy expanse that gives co-op players some more stuff to do, including Pokémon dens that hide new and classic legendary creatures.
Tom's write up of all the Nintendo Pokémon Direct news better covers everything that was revealed. For a quick blast of the highlights, 200 new or returning Pokémon will be added to the pair of Switch games, Pokémon Home will launch in February and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is coming to Switch in March.
