Zelda - Kah Mael and Drop and Rise trial solution in Breath of the Wild

How to find Kah Mael and solve Drop and Rise.

Kah Mael is one of the many shrines located throughout Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Found in the Lanayru region, it involves the Drop and Rise challenge.

How to find Kah Mael

Kah Mael is located on Tingel Island, which is the northern-most chain of islands to the far east of the map, between the Akalla and Lanayru regions.

The easiest way to reach it is by flying from Akalla Tower directly east, and heading to the middle of the island.

There you'll find a large, thin and very heavy slab of rock. There's many ways of moving this, but we'd recommend using Statis and hitting it with a heavy weapon, nudging it out of the way, so you can drop down into the hole it covers to find the Shrine entrance.

Kah Mael and Drop and Rise trial solution

This shrine is surprisingly simple. Ahead is a set of scales, and above it on the right, is a wooden platform with a metal box on it.

Stand on the left side of the scales, and shoot arrows at the rope holding up the platform. This will drop the box onto the other end of the scale, propelling you into the air when it lands.

Use this momentum to glide over to platform next to where the metal box lands, and you'll find a chest with a Diamond inside.

Now, time to recreate it for the otherside. Stand on the scale next to the metal box, lift it with the Magnesis rune, and drop it on the other side of the scale. This will cause you to be propelled into the air on landing, allowing you to glide to the altar, and the Shrine Orb.

Doing this method also means you can create being propelled into the air as much as you like, in case you missed the timing of getting to the chest the first time round.
