  2. Video: Hatred, and why it wanted that 'Adults Only' rating

Some games just love to court controversy, and Hatred certainly has done just that since it was first announced in October last year. Last week, the game was slapped with a rare "Adults Only" rating by US ratings board the ESRB. Digital Foundry | Digital Foundry: Hands-on with the Evolve beta

Performance and netcode analysed as Turtle Rock's new game gets a pre-launch stress test.

We first looked at Evolve late last year when the game was still in its alpha phase, finding a new take on the team-based multiplayer shooter that felt fresh and fun to play, built upon the first multi-platform outing we'd seen for the powerful CryEngine middleware. Video | Video: When remakes improve on the originals

    Second time's a charm.

In her infinite wisdom, Cher once sang, "If I could turn back time, if I could find a way." Really makes you think. Mind you, the cruel and inexorable march of time is good for some things, like bringing us this bunch of video game remakes that, in one way or another, managed to surpass their progenitors. Review | Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell review

    The satanic versus.

Remember when Saints Row was all about colour-coded street gangs? How long ago it seems, with bombing through the netherworld in Gat Out of Hell now a natural enough progression from alien invasions and virtual reality shooting galleries.
