Feature | Roller Drama is secretly a brilliant houseshare simulator
Knock knock.
Hello! I've been playing Roller Drama over the last week or so. It's not a long game, I gather, but I'm taking it slow, because it feels, in its own way, like it's a whole world I am being dunked in, and I want to make the most of it, and to live it as fully as I can.

Feature | Daytona USA was one of the miracles of the XBLA era, so grab it while you can
Let's go away.
Sometimes you really don't know how good you've got it. Just over a decade ago Sega dropped a batch of Model 2 ports on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, providing impeccably presented emulations of some of the games that carved its reputation in 90s arcades. Virtua Fighter 2, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On and Sonic the Fighters all received near-immaculate re-releases, but the best of the lot was the first to arrive: Daytona USA, AM2's almighty racer which, back in 2011, got a port that had no right being as good as it was. It's about to be delisted from Microsoft's marketplace, so I'd strongly suggest you grab it while you can.

Digital Foundry | Sony Dualsense Edge PS5 controller review: features beyond compare
A serious upgrade for the enthusiast, with some drawbacks.
More than two years on from the PS5's release, Sony's new DualSense Edge controller offers a premium upgrade over the gamepad bundled with the console - and a rival to Microsoft's Xbox Elite controller. It's a competition-focused pro gamepad with back paddles, fully remappable buttons, adjustable triggers and swappable parts. The Edge costs a steep £210/$200 at launch - so is it worth the premium? And how does it compare to third-party alternatives - not to mention the Xbox Elite controller? Let's find out.

Recommended | Hi-Fi Rush review - an unrepentant riot of rhythm-action
Up-toon funk.
I've been listening to a lot of The Joy Formidable recently, namely the Welsh band's 2008 hit Whirring. "Turn the dial on my words, I can feel they fall short," sings frontwoman Rhiannon Bryan before the band takes over and the guitars escalate to a rapturous peak. The song is, perhaps, about not being able to express emotions in words, the music taking over all feeling for an almost seven minute long crescendo. And that's how I feel about Hi-Fi Rush as I struggle to put my enjoyment into words.
