It's looking very special.
If happiness is a warm gun, pure unadulterated ecstasy is a really massive gun that's so hot from the relentess BLAMBLAMBLAM of its neverending stream of bullets that before you can pick it up you have to put on oven gloves. Made of the stuff they put on the outside of space shuttles.

Review | Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix
Buy it again, Bam.
Neversoft's Jackass-ification of the Tony Hawk series has been almost apologetic. Real skaters were never a problem - mild-mannered Tony Hawk always struck me as a nice chap anyway - but THUG 2 kicks off as professional-crazy Bam Margera abducts pro-skaters and shanghais them into touring the globe performing skating stunts and doing "wacky" things, like throwing tomatoes at a bull's testicles. Why have you done that, Neversoft? "Well, um, er, something about the zeitgeist, skate culture, mumble-mumble. But it's okay! Because the levels are excellent! Review | Rainbow Six: Lockdown
Unfinished sympathy?
Shooting terrorists, rescuing hostages, defusing bombs. It's a well-worn formula, and Red Storm's been peddling it with the Rainbow Six series for many years - with increasing success. Its transition to consoles, in particular, has managed to bring out the best in the series - particularly online, where it ranks as possibly the finest example of how to do team-based gaming. Even offline, it's always been resolutely satisfying; one of those atmospheric slow-burners that demands reserves of patience and no small amount of skill to outwit a foe.
