Interview | The big Overwatch BlizzCon interview with Jeff Kaplan
"We have our next six heroes planned out right now."
Blizzard announced 29th Overwatch hero, Ashe, at BlizzCon 2018 today. She's an old friend of gunslinger McCree, and we saw the pair have an emotionally-charged - and very entertaining - reunion in a gorgeous new animated short. We also saw another hero, called Echo, but learnt nothing more. When will they both be released? Is Echo who we know as Athena, the AI voice in our ears? And is Echo really the character we saw on that piece of art before Overwatch even released?

Feature | Diablo 3's classes - ranked
On the Switching hour.
Diablo 3 launches on Nintendo Switch this week, and good Lord it is a lovely thing. Blizzard's opulent action RPG has been on a long journey since a difficult launch on PC in 2012, but it has been a genuine classic since 2014's Reaper of Souls expansion blew the doors off the original game's stodgy structure and balancing and introduced the endless Adventure Mode. Some of the groundwork for Reaper of Souls was laid by an impeccable console conversion in 2013, which had a generous feature set, a crisp interface and cleverly adapted controls. This console game has gathered up all Diablo 3's expansions and content updates since as it has rolled from one console generation to the next, and arrives on Switch with one hell of an added bonus: you can now play Diablo on the train, which is one of the better inventions of my lifetime.

You can now listen to Undertale creator's Deltarune Chapter 1 soundtrack
Go with the flowey.
Ask any Undertale fan what they love most about the game and chances are they'll name the soundtrack. The original music was composed by creator Toby Fox, and received a great deal of praise for its clever use of leitmotifs (recurring themes) to represent each of the main characters. Like 8-bit Wagner, really.

Why World Cup runners-up Croatia aren't in FIFA 19
Suker punch.
If you watched this summer's World Cup, you'll probably have seen the Croatian national team on their run to the final.
