Exploring the Kendo Gun Shop in Resident Evil 3

After you've completed the Demolition Site, you'll be on a street with the Kendo Gun Shop just ahead of you.

Before you travel onward, go right and down the slope. Open the case at the bottom here, where you can find some High Grade Gunpower.

Now head towards the gunshop. If you want to avoid the zombies, head onto the sidewalk - there's one there, but it will be beating at the shop window and ignoring you.

You'll pass a locked fence gate on the way - remember this for a little later - and enter the shop. There's a tonne of ammo and consumables here, so fill your pockets, and importantly grab the Semi-Auto Barrel (a useful Shotgun upgrade) on the shelf.

Turning the corner results in a cutscene. Grab Kendo's Gate Key from the wall as instructed, and use the typewriter and item box in the corner to manage your inventory and save your game. Be sure to grab the Lockpick if it's not already in your inventory.

Where to use Kendo's Gate Key in Resident Evil 3

When ready, leave Kendo Gun Shop and use the key on the alleyway gate to the right.

There's a Red Herb just in front of you, but be wary of the zombie which springs to life - as well as the one round the corner. Continue through and you'll enter a house.

In this dark kitchen area there's a Bobble Head on the counter to shoot.

Don't hang around too long, though - there's a mutated zombie in the next room who will slowly advance on your position.

Head upstairs, grab the Raccoon Times Reader's Column File from the bed, and use the Lockpick on the case for some Explosive Rounds.

Head back down stairs and out the front door. Nemesis shows up once more, and this time is armed with a Rocket Launcher.

What follows is another chase sequence. When the laser is fixed, a rocket is about to be fired, so just shimmy out of the way to dodge it. Continue going until a few chases and cutscenes later, you are blown over a barricade.

You can open a crate on your left to get a First Aid Spray, while the walkway on your right takes you to a rooftop near the downtown area we explored area - with fire blocking your route so you have to go to the front of the Donut Shop and up towards the front of the Toy Store.

When you do, a cutscene sees the giant head of the shop fall and come towards you. It's a bit absurd but, hey, let's roll with it.

Quick turn and run down the steps before darting right, then wait for it to pass, so you can proceed as planned.

Nemesis will appear again, this time right behind you - just run towards the subway, dodging rockets once more, until you meet Carlos and you're safe in the subway.

After meet Carlos, follow him along to the subway platform to finally leave this Downtown section of the game.

You can take the stairs left to go back up to the Monument (in case you forgot to put the Jewels in) and use the storage box. Now follow Carlos down to the subway platform for a cutscene. After that, you're exploring the Police Station.
