Uncharted 4 - Chapter 2: Infernal Place
A walkthrough, puzzle solution and treasure locations for Uncharted 4's Chapter 2: Infernal Place, which takes place in a prison in Panama.
Here we'll walk you through how to beat Chapter 2: Infernal Place of Uncharted 4, including treasure locations and a puzzle solution. We jump forward in time to find Nate in a Panamanian prison, and involved in a fight.
The fight is short and alternates between pressing [SQUARE] to throw punches and a handful of quick-time events (QTEs): mash [TRIANGLE] or [SQUARE] when prompted. There's no dodging or strategy involved - the fight will eventually be broken up and you'll end up in solitary confinement.
Follow your captor through the prison until you earn your freedom. Once your cuffs are off, head down the steps and drop to the area below. Slide down the ramp, steer your descent to the left and climb the ledge ahead. Climb the rock face at the end of the path and collect your rope from the structure ahead.
- Treasure: Panamanian Cat Pendant - Drop to the bottom of the well to find your first collectible.
Push the wheeled crate to the rock face and climb up, then use your rope to swing across the gap. Head to the steps ahead, then use the rope to reach the collapsed wall just round the corner. Jump over to the other side and make your way up using the handholds, then slide down the ramp and use your rope before you slip off the end. Make your way up and into the small tower, and stand on the protruding wooden platform to find some handholds that allow you to reach the roof. Leap from the end of the wooden beam and grab the wall, then head up and left to reach an open window.
- Treasure: Navaja Folding Knife - Once inside, drop down to the floor below. The collectible is on the floor behind a pillar.
Follow the wooden walkway and use your rope to pull down the window shutter. Jump across to it, climb through, head to the right, round the corner, and up until you reach the window. Climb through and drop down into the cell.
Examine the symbol on the wall to the right of the door, then use your journal to look at the letter. Flip it and then fold it in half to reveal a puzzle clue.
- Puzzle Solution - Locate the brick with the Roman numeral XII on the wall, below and to the right of the window you entered through.
Once you've located the cross, open the door and drop down into the darkness. Use your rope to descend the tower and swing from the end to grab the metal grating. Climb up and follow the wooden walkway, then cross the beams until you're on a diagonal one above a gravel slope. Jump down to the slope and leap from the end to grab the wall, climb, and open the door.
Jump from the end of the broken wooden platform onto the beam, shimmy along to your left, and climb onto terra firma. Slide down the slope and steer hard left, then use your rope to swing across the gap. Scale the wall to another small tower, then jump across to the curved roof and drop into the hatch and back to your guard.
After the cut-scene, you'll find yourself in a group brawl. It's an unwinnable fight, so simply punch and dodge for long enough and eventually you'll trigger a "mash [TRIANGLE]" QTE which will bring the fight to a close.
After another cut-scene, you'll need to run as fast as you can. Follow your brother along the corridor, over the rooftops, and down to ground level. Once Rafe rejoins you, follow the pair of them, and at the second locked door boost your brother up the ladder before resuming your rooftop run.
You'll end up falling to ground level again for a quick brawl. Once that's over, help your brother push the trolley and enter the vent, and follow it round to the end. Once outside run to the end of the concrete passageway, jump over the short wall, and head for the ladder on the far right. Follow Rafe again until you trigger a cut-scene, and then continue to follow him to freedom.
