Uncharted 4 - Chapter 3: The Malaysia Job, Chapter 4: A Normal Life & Chapter 5: Hector Alcazar
How to beat these three short chapters of Uncharted 4, including treasure locations, conversations and trophies.
On this page we'll tackle three short chapters of Uncharted 4 that bring us up to the present day: Chapter 3: The Malaysia Job, Chapter 4: A Normal Life And Chapter 4: Hector Alcazar. Treasure locations are included, as well as trophies and optional conversations.
Chapter 3: The Malaysia Job
We're scuba-diving! Keep swimming forwards until you reach a deeper area of water, then dive to the bottom to locate the wreckage.
- Treasure: Antique Padlock - Under a fallen log ahead and to the right of your starting location.
- Treasure: Chiriqui Shark Trinket - Keep left as you swim ahead and you'll find two circular holes in a rock. The trinket is located behind the central pillar.
Once you've located the wreckage, open the door, swim inside, and secure the cargo. There are two crates missing: one is trapped under the container by the door - you can't move it, but you need to try in order to trigger the mission progression. The second is located in the rear left of the area, so grab it and return it to the container.
- Treasure: Antique Pocketwatch - In the far right corner of the deeper area.
A winch harness will now be lowered. Wait for it to stop and then grab one of the cables and thread it round a strut on the container - you need to swim behind the strut and wrap the cable in place before securing it. Repeat for the second, and wait for the container to be hoisted before swimming underneath and grabbing the other crate. Place it in the container, then swim up and grab the hoist to return to the surface.
- Treasure: Antique Arcade Token - Once onboard the boat, this can be found on the shelf on the raised area in the centre of the deck.
- Optional Conversation - After collecting the token, talk to the crewman behind you.
- Optional Conversation - Talk to the crewmen unloading the cargo.
Head for the other end of the boat and talk to Jamieson, then follow him back to the cargo and open the crate.
Chapter 4: A Normal Life
The first part of this chapter is a stroll through memory lane for anyone who's played previous Uncharted games - the attic is full of relics from Nathan's earlier adventures. Nose around as much or as little as you see fit, and then grab the toy gun that's hanging over the privacy screen at the far end of the attic.
- Trophy: Still Got It! - Quickly shoot the four targets hanging from the ceiling; this is most easily done if you stand near the shelf opposite your desk (the one with the skull on it).
Get off a few shots, and then you'll be able to open the hatch in the floor. Climb down and explore the upstairs rooms if you want, then head downstairs. Grab a beer or soda from the fridge, and then when asked to bring the food, pick up the bowls from next to the stove and sit on the sofa. After the cut-scene you'll get a chance to play Naughty Dog's PlayStation classic, Crash Bandicoot - but don't worry about trying to beat Elena's high score, because you can't right now.
Chapter 5: Hector Alcazar
For this chapter, you'll be playing as Sam, and it's a fairly straightforward run-and-gun affair. There are no collectibles, no alternative paths, and no distractions: simply follow Hector and his henchmen as you fight your way out of the building. If you're having difficulty, you can hang back and let the non-player characters do most of the hard work, but it's a good opportunity to get to grips with the combat - you'll be needing it a lot later.
