Destiny players are reviving an old Omnigul exploit to level-up in time for the Rise of Iron raid
Live. Die. Repeat.
Destiny has a proud history when it comes to exploits. There was the loot cave. Then there was the Three of Coins exotic engram exploit. And who can forget turning the internet off in order to beat Crota? Now, players have revived another, old exploit most agree offers the quickest way to level up in the post-Rise of Iron game.

Review | FIFA 17 review
Two points dropped.
It's been 23 years since FIFA International Soccer, the first FIFA game, was released. For more than two decades, EA has taken its most successful product, tweaked it slightly, added a few marketing phrases and released new annual editions to huge success. Often it's little more than the rosters that can objectively be said to have 'improved'. But still we, as a gaming public, lap it up. If EA had gotten a little complacent, you could hardly blame them.

Digital Foundry | Face-Off: BioShock: The Collection
Some nice upgrades are marred by obvious technical issues.
On paper, the package looks compelling. The original BioShock, its underrated sequel and all the DLC are treated to a full remaster for their current-gen console debuts, plus there's a full port of BioShock Infinite, offering the complete PC package for PS4 and Xbox One owners. On top of that, 2K Games has aimed high in terms of performance and image quality, with 1080p resolution and 60fps action targeted for all three titles.

Interview | Is DayZ still coming out on console and, you know, WTH is going on?
Answers from the creative director.
Whenever I write anything about DayZ, the conversation is dominated by two things: DayZ not being finished and Dean Hall not finishing it. There are legitimate concerns tied around misinformed ones. I have tried to put all of these to the game's creative director Brian Hicks.

Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel paints a world worth revisiting
Brush of genius.
Dark Souls did a lot to become a classic. Between its polished combat system, enticing challenges, and inspired art direction, it's little surprise that it drew such a devoted following. But perhaps Dark Souls' (and Demon's Souls before it) most memorable attribute was its ability to surprise people. Who can forget the first time you encounter a colossal hydra basking in a moonlit lake? The first time you realise that you can curl up into a crow's nest and be whisked away to a remote mountain? The first time you discover that you can step into a painting? But after Dark Souls' DLC, sequel, and its sequel's DLC (not to mention the series' spiritual sister Bloodborne), developer From Software was sometimes criticised for retreading old ground. Dark Souls 3 is a fantastic looking game, but one can only explore so many castles and fight so many knights and dragons before the whole enterprise blends together into a Castlevania-esque milieu of medieval mishmosh.

Death Star DLC patch rolls out.
The Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC (downloadable content) rolled out yesterday, and with it, a big patch. Among the big list of changes was one in particular you should know about: the ability to equip two Trait cards in a battle. I've been playing this afternoon and it's worth pointing out that this doesn't mean you can have two Traits active at the same time, at least not from what I can see.
