    CD Projekt yesterday announced that the next update for Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until March, following a severe cyber attack that held source code and internal documents to ransom. A new report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier has now detailed exactly how disruptive the attack was, leaving employees locked out of their workstations for two weeks and scrambling to freeze personal accounts.

    Sometimes, there's nothing quite so reassuring as a good old JRPG. This is a comfort blanket of a genre for players of a certain age, games that happily consume entire lazy afternoons curled up on a sofa as you slowly push numbers ever upwards. They don't come much more comforting than those producer Tomoya Asano and his team have made an art of in recent years; dipping into Square Enix's remarkable history of evocative greats, they've given us modern takes on the classic JRPG formula such as 2018's Octopath Traveler and 2012's Bravely Default.

    One of Capcom's most celebrated and beloved franchises, Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection for Switch is something of a treat, modernising a classic game with Nintendo's console hybrid technology, while at the same time honoring some of its most iconic moments. It's also one of the first Switch games built using Capcom's excellent RE Engine - the other being Monster Hunter Rise. While a very different sort of game, Ghost 'n Goblins showcases just how flexible the tools and technology truly can be and while this release has proven divisive to fandom, I think it's an excellent effort overall.
